Design System

As a Design Manager, I have led multidisciplinary teams to deliver user-centric solutions aligned with strategic business goals, fostering collaboration and innovation. One of my key achievements has been the development and implementation of Córtex DS, the first Design System at Rede D’Or São Luiz. This initiative significantly enhanced efficiency and standardization across digital products, reducing operational costs by 23.5% and strengthening the alignment between design and technology teams. Working with Meiuca was pivotal in building Córtex DS. Their structured and collaborative approach helped lay the foundation for a scalable system tailored to our diverse ecosystem of digital products. The process included over 30 Tech Days and Design Days, engaging designers, developers, Product Owners, and Product Managers to foster learning, align expectations, and drive adoption. This integration marked a milestone, creating a culture of collaboration and standardization that had been missing. To ensure sustainability, we established a governance team dedicated to maintaining quality, updating components, and addressing the evolving needs of product teams. While one product has advanced implementation, four others have begun redesigns leveraging Córtex DS. This year has been focused on “evangelizing” the system, showcasing its benefits, and building engagement across departments for broader adoption. Córtex DS is more than a tool—it represents a cultural shift within Rede D’Or. Its impact is evident not only in operational efficiency but also in fostering a design-first mindset that positions the organization for future innovation.
